These video's CUH-racked me up!!!
It's all about a man who is trying to flee the country, because he owes a lot of money on his taxes. He ends up going to Costa Rica, the trip turned out to be NOT what he was wanting/expecting. Turning more into a mission's trip, rather than the vacation he was desiring. Hilarious!
What is really cool about this for me is, I went to Costa Rica on a mission's trip as a teenager to this very same church under Bro. Bordell. There were people I recognized in the video, so that was pretty neat! Bro. Bordell is a funny, funny man and the people there are so sweet. I can only imagine the fun times they had making this video!
If you need a good laugh today, this should help!

~Love~
"Is love a fancy or a feeling...."? --Sense and Sensibility--
"Love doesn’t make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile." --Franklin P. Jones--
Today is Valentines Day, the day many couples look forward to. The day you can show those you love, how much you care, spoiling them with gifts and cards. Some people will go out on a limb today and venture to see if their 'secret' valentine wants to be theirs too.
As I ponder, the meaning of this day only seems to intrigue me. What is love? Or what is love as described as others?
Some describe love as a feeling, something that can change from one moment to the next. One day you are totally in love with someone, the next day you have 'fallen out' of love with that same person.
How can this be so? If that is what happens, then I sincerely wonder if it was true and unselfish love at all that they displayed.
Your love should not disappear because of circumstances, but should grow despite circumstances.
To me, love is a choice. You may not always 'feel' in love with someone but its your actions, your determination to love this person, despite whatever shortcomings that may be present.
Its giving, not taking.
I can't help but turn to the Author of Love. The Only One Who knows and displays unconditional love, towards those who are so undeserving.
I Corinthians 13 (known as the love chapter)
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

I couldn't have said it better myself.

It's here!!! It's here!!!
Alright people!! I am finally ready to share with you what we have been working on, as mentioned in this post.
After much work, thoughts, and inspiration Kali and I have opened up an online shop!!!!!!
After much work, thoughts, and inspiration Kali and I have opened up an online shop!!!!!!
(Click the button to go to our shop)
We have put much thought into the title of our shop.
It is derived from Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." The name is a symbol of us endeavoring to be virtuous women, as in Proverbs 31.
What, you may ask, are we selling??
Kali has made a few crochet hats for kids and adults that received rave reviews. Braxton was made a dinosaur hat and a lady who has a shop here in town saw it the hat and loved it! She asked Braxton's mom to see if Kali would like to do consignment for her shop!! We had already decided to join forces and work on this online shop together. So, what is a better way to advertise it?! Love it! Our hats will be selling at a little shop here in town, very soon!
Kali taught me how to make hats, (I KNOW, ME, CROCHETING?!?!?!?! Who would have thought?!) and we have been busy, busy ever since.
So, stop on over to our shop and let us know what you think! We would love to hear your feedback!
