I found this video while doing a little "blog hopping" tonight. Yes, admit it, we all do it! ;o) I thought it was so funny I had to show you all! Although I don't support the whole boyfriend/girlfriend game, it is really funny! I'm sure all the girls out there can identify!

Behind on Posting....
I know its been a while since I have posted about the stuff thats been going on around here, so I will try to get you up to date but not bore you will all the details!
So, after almost a week of our house being on the market, we got a bid and within the next week it was in the process (and still is) of going through all the papers and yada yada..... So as of this moment the "sale is pending", but we have to be out by June 3rd....yes thats next week. Crazy, I know! So, we are starting to pack and this saturday we are having a garage sale to try and get rid of some unnecessary things we find on the way and stuff thats been in the garage for a while that we havn't gotten around to having a garage sale with. As you can imagine, we have been really busy.
We went over to the East side of the state and put a bid on the house we are wanting. We were able to come to an agreement! So, the latest we would be able to close on that house is the 30th of June, maybe even sooner. We will have a couple weeks of the "limbo" stage and hopefully we will be able to sack with my brother in his new apartment for that time. If not, we have received many offers for us to come and stay with church family and friends, which is very sweet and appreciated. Even then, as the last resort, we have a church trailer that we can stay in until things get settled. No matter what, God will work it all out. Just pray that He will comfort and strengthen our family as we take this new step and leap of faith. Satan will really try to attack and distract us and I can already feel that he has been trying, so please pray that we will grow in Him and learn to lean and trust upon Him more each day.....
Besides the whole moving stuff, I was able to have a much needed girls day with Alyssa and Linnea last monday. We went shopping and found nice stuff! We did have plans to go hiking afterwards, but by the time we were finished shopping we were too tired to hike, so another day....hey, shopping alone is hiking right?!?! We have to run to get the good sales!
My parents, Kali and I went to a H.O.P.E conference at another church last week, as well. Its a ministry to help addicts and giving them the spiritual counselling they need, thus sharing the Gospel with them. We are excited to be able to eventually incorporate this into our ministries at the church we are starting.
Thats pretty much a sum of whats been going on the past few weeks.....sorry I dont have any pictures for this post, I know its kind of boring without pictures. I guess you will just have to survive without it this time. ;o) (BTW, my last day of work is the 17th of June....so sad.....)
Enjoy your week and find some time to relax!

Happy Birthday Alyssa!!!!
Today is one of my very good friends birthday, Alyssa! She is finally in the 20's hehe! Well, in the very beginning of it, but hey, its the 20's!
Alyssa and I go way back, when we were younger, probably before age 10. They were in the military, so they were stationed here for a few years. I dont really remember her at that time though, I think it was more one of those people that you "know" about but you weren't the best of friends with. So, a couple years later they got stationed somewhere else and moved away. They were gone for several years and other than a few letters back and forth, here and there, we really didnt stay in touch. Just back in 2007 they were stationed back here! When she first got here I thought she was very shy. (When talking about this years later, she thought that she was more outgoing than she had been in years past starting at new churches...lol) At the time, I was working at a shop that a family in the church owned, which I was friends with their daughter, Linnea. Alyssa was given the opportunity to start working at the same shop in '08, and to be honest I was unsure of that, I wasn't sure if she was going to "steal" Linnea away from me. Now, thinking back it sounds silly, but I'm just being honest! :o) Without going into all the looonnngg details and how it all came about. Through that time we all were able to grow closer together as good friends. We have been able to "share" each other between three people insead of two! The Lord has really blessed us so much by giving us this friendship and I am so blessed and honored by it. God is so good! We have had SO many good times over the years and I look forward to the MANY years ahead of us. Even though the miles may separate us, we will always be close and stay in touch. I plan on calling them when I have my first great-grandchild! haha...ok thats a little ways off but just so you guys can get a glimpse of how long we will stay friends!! Love you lots Alyssa and have a wonderful birthday!!

Happy Birthday Mom!
Today is my mom's birthday....wow, I can remember when she was just a little baby! (hehe ok, maybe not, but it sounded good!) My mother, what can I say about my mother? Are there any words that could really describe fully the blessings of having a good, Godly mother? I praise God for my mother and how she is such a Godly example of what a woman needs to be. She is not just my mother, but she is my friend. As I get older she is becoming more and more of a friend that I can just go and talk to about anything or laugh about the silliest things, rather than the mom that nags you about cleaning your room. (hehe, not saying that I was messy or anything....) Even though I will make fun of her sometimes and correct her grammer, I love her more than words can express. Thank you mom, for being such a great mother and being that Godly example that a good mother needs to be! I love you lots!!!
Sorry, I dont have a lot of pictures that she would "approve of"!

You all can probably guess where I get the dorky side of my personality from! haha

Its Official!
We officially have our house on the market! I'm glad its finally just on the market and now its out of our hands and into the Lord's! We are just resting on Him now and waiting for His perfect timing for us to move.
On Saturday, we went to a memorial service for a man we knew that passed away in April and not long after we even got out of the house and on the road, a real estate agent called and said he had a client who really wanted to see the house saturday. I was like, "What?!?!", we just put the house on the market on friday! Wow! I guess I didnt realize how early people would come out to look at it. To be honest, I was almost on the verge of tears when I heard that, its becoming more and more real by the days. Plus, the fact that strangers are coming into our house to look at it is kind of a strange thought. (Keep in mind that I have lived in this house for 14 or so years and the only time we have moved, since I was alive, was when I was 4 or 5. So this is all VERY new for me.) God is good though, and I know when the time is right He will prepare myself and my family for the move. Here are some pictures I took friday......

Whoever invented a lock box was obviously a real estate agent, its a neat idea and VERY handy. Yet, its a pain to have to work around sometimes.
