Praise the Lord!!

So, God has been so good recently! First of all, on Sunday we had two first time visitors to church!! That was VERY encouraging, especially just starting a church. (It was an older lady with her son, about my parents age.) They sounded like they were already saved and were looking for a good church! It also sounds like they will be definitely coming back to church on Sundays and possibly even the Thursday night prayer and Bible study at our house! I tell you what, it is such an encouragement to see people who are really interested in coming and serving the Lord! Praise the Lord!

Secondly, about a year ago my dad's work (mechanic at the Chevy Dealership in town) closed down due to the economy. He had worked there for 20+ years, so it was hard for him to have to leave. The owner was moving to the Mazda Dealership in town and he was taking a select few with him. Praise the Lord, one of the ones he chose was my dad!! We didn't know what was going to happen so my dad was exploring his options and then God just opened the door for that job! Anyways, he had been working there up until the time that we moved, end of June. Things were really slow, but God was faithful and He continued to pay the bills! When we put up our house for sell then we were just like, "Ok God, you know when you want us to move, so just make the way." Two months later our house was sold and we were on the road to our new home! Obviously God wanted us to move quickly in order to get the work started over here! So, I was just informed today that the Mazda Dealership that my dad was working at before we moved just closed down on Friday! Wow! If we were still there and God didn't move us when He did, my dad would have been without work! GOD IS SOO GOOD! He knows what we need so much more than we do. Praise Him for all He does and works in ways that maybe we don't even understand, but its according to His will and that's all that matters! It's so amazing to see how God works......isn't our God GREAT?!?!?!!!

"And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak."  Mark 7:37
